Identification Title Nutrients loading Abstract Nutrients loads are expected to produce impacts on water quality and are considered an indicator assessment of the pressure of the Eutrophication Descriptor (D5) for the initial assessment of the marine waters (Art. 8 (1b) MSFD). The dataset contains fluxes data of Total Nitrogen and Total Phosphorus from urban waste water treatment, from some fish farms and from the basin outlet of the three main river (Po, Arno and Tiber). The waste water treatment dataset result from all implants that discharge to the sea within 20 km from Italian coastline. The fish farm dataset derives from the monitoring program of 8 sea-based aquaculture implants. The data source is the implementation of the MSFD monitoring program.
