Identification
Sea level anomaly by satellite observations
Satellite data of Sea Level Anomaly (SLA) have been analyzed to evaluatethe effect on the sea level of the temporally variable geostrophic surface currents. Anomaly values of Sea Level Anomaly (SLA)in 2016 compared to the SLA in 2015, trend and significance of SLA (2012-2016) are provided for the MSFD sub-regions of Western Mediterranean, Ionian Sea and Central Mediterranean, Adriatic Sea. The data source is the implementation of the MSFD monitoring program.
