Identification
Physical and chemical parameters of the water column in-situ data
In the period 2015-2017, the hydrological instrumentation of the "Acqua Alta" platform (Northern Adriatic Sea) has acquired oceanographic data on two levels (superficial and background) for these parameters: water temperature, salinity, dissolved oxygen. In the Gulf of Trieste (Northern Adriatic Sea), with Meda Paloma instrumentations, the temperature has been detected at three different depths during 2016; in the same area, at 3-meters-depth other parameters have been detected: salinity, depth and dissolved oxygen. In the 2015-2016 two-year period two measuring stations in the coastal area of Civitavecchia (Tyrrhenian Sea) have acquired these oceanographic data: conductivity, temperature, dissolved oxygen, pH, turbidity and fluorescence of chlorophyll. In the same period, fixed coastal platforms (MEDA buoys) in the coastal area of Portofino (Ligurian Sea) have measured: sea wave, wind speed, wind direction, surface temperature, salinity and pressure. Along the coasts of Sicily, in the 2015-2016 period, temperature measurements have been taken hourly by the self-acquiring thermometers “iButton ALHAMAC”. For the same period, a station in the coastal area of Civitavecchia and two stations in the coastal area of Portofino (Punta faro, Ca’dell'Oro), have been acquired temperature and salinity data with weekly profiles. From January 2015 to November 2016, the following parameters have been measured by different stations located in the marine area in front of the port of Molfetta (Southern Adriatic Sea): vertical temperature profile, conductivity (salinity), turbidity. In the Central-Southern Tyrrhenian Sea the time series of salinity, temperature and currents on the bottom have been measured through the two sensors of the VEC mooring from January 2015 to December 2015 e from January 2016 to December 2016. In the CNR-ISMAR station, located in the Corsica Channel (Tyrrhenian Sea) at 450 meters, oceanographic parameters of depth, temperature, salinity, dissolved oxygen and pressure have been collected for the years 2015-2016. The data source is the implementation of the MSFD monitoring program.
